The Department of Genetics and Developmental Biology for which the Board of Directors of the Institut Curie has invested a lot of efforts will open very soon.
Through two international calls six group leaders have been identified in this growing field that has demonstrated its pertinence both in basic research and in translational research aiming to fight against cancer.
On this occasion this international symposium has been organized and outstanding speakers have been invited together with the future group leaders of this new department to present their most recent work and perspectives.
In order to enable most of you to participate in this event, the Institut Curie kindly supported by the College de France has organized this symposium in the Marguerite-de-Navarre Amphitheater of the College de France (Paris).
I very much hope that you will join us to participate in this exceptionnal event in the History of the Institut Curie.
